 Season Pass Holders must have their membership passes paid for by January 31st, 2010 in order to receive the $50.00 discount. We are accepting applications by mail up to January 31st. The Pro Shop will be open weather permitting between the hours of 10AM - 1PM Saturday 1/23 and 1/30.
The reconstruction of the bunkers on the 12th hole was nearly completed prior to the last big storm, it will be completed when the weather permits.
The work on the watering system continues, completion date - (sometime in May.)
The Golf Course will be open for the 2010 Season weather permitting late March - Early April. The 2010 rates are posted on the Rate Page.

 Hunter Golf Course is now offering a special. It's $35 per person for 18 holes and a cart Monday - Thursday before 1PM. On weekends its $45 anytime after 2PM. You must call ahead and have at least 2 people to qualify.

It's finally here!! Hunter GC will be open this Saturday March 21st(weather permitting). All 18 holes will be open for walkers, but only the front nine holes will be open for carts. We hope to see you soon!

 We are looking forward to the 2009 Golf Season, hopefully mother nature will cooperate. We anticipate a late March or early April opening. Weather and course conditions will dictate...
Membership applications have been flowing in daily. Those of you not using the mail, the golf shop will be open on the following dates...
February 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28
Hours will be from 10AM - 2PM

 The Golf Shop will be open daily 9:30am - 1:30pm for those wishing to purchase gift certificates. The shop will then close on Sunday December 21st for the season.
At this time the golf course is closed for play and will be closed officially December 31st for the 2008 season.

 The Meriden City Championship will be held Saturday August 16th & Sunday August 17th. We will also have the Junior & Senior Championships on Wednesday the 13th & Thursday the 14th. Our phone lines have been repaired and all of our computers are back to 100% after the lightning strike last week. Also, our new live web camera will be working by the end of the week. Thank you for your patience.

Currently, the phones in the pro shop are not working due to a serious storm last night. Lightning struck and damaged a tree just outside the pro shop blowing out all of our phones. The phones will be back in service sometime Monday. Thank you for your patience.

 The final phase of construction on the new 10th tee has begun. The tee should be completed within the next few days. It will open when the superintendent, Tom Devaux, feels its ready.

PGA Professional, Bob Tiedemann, is working with the PGA of America's First Tee Program. Bob is teaching local Meriden children about the game of golf as well as many other life skills. The First Tee Program runs two days a week at the Hunter Golf Club and is a seven week program.

Due to an increase in improper golf attire around the club house, putting green, and practice range, it is necessary for us to enforce the dress code. Therefore, collared shirts are required for all men over the age of 18. Tee shirts and cut off muscle shirts are not permitted. Ladies are asked to wear proper golf attire at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.

Starting this weekend, April 19th, we will move our first time to 7:30am. Weekdays will stay at 8:00am. If all goes well we are going to open the range on Saturday, so lets hope the rain stays away.

Starting Tuesday April 8, 2008 we will start our aerification process on the greens. The front nine will be closed until 2:30 P.M. The back nine will be closed Wednesday April 9, 2008 until 2:30 P.M.

 This season golfers playing from the Blue & White Tees will experience a change on the 4th & 8th holes. The Blue & White tees have been reversed. When teeing off on the 4th hole, you'll actually be playing from the 8th tee. The same hold true for the 8th hole where you'll tee off from the the backside of the 4th tee box. This modification will not effect Ladies & Seniors.
We are also working on a new tee for the 10th hole which will be completed shortly. Depending on weather conditions, the 10th could be played as either a Par 4 or Par 5 hole. We will post an update as more information becomes available.
Drainage work on the left side of the 18th hole will be completed in the near future.
The snack bar has a new look....Fresh paint and a new tiled floor will be sure to make your visit on the turn more pleasurable this season.
